I work with all ages and abilities. I have worked with toddlers, teens and adults individually, in
groups as well as couples and families. I cater the work to meet the needs of any and all
individuals regardless of age and/or abilities as well as offer specialized services as needed.
Scientific research shows that combining mindfulness and goal setting can have a big effect on
your life. Studies show that focusing on the present moment through mindfulness creates
numerous benefits like less stress, clearer thinking, and increases emotional intelligence.
When you apply mindfulness to your goal setting, you have the ability to make better decisions
about your dreams and ambitions. Mindfulness helps to improve your attention and ability to
transition and adapt, creating more flexible thinking. This mental agility makes it easier to set
realistic goals, increasing your confidence and motivation..
Art therapy and Expressive Arts include the use of visual arts, writing, music, and movement
based modalities using a process of mindful introspection (suspending judgment and
expectation) with an intention of exploration and discovery…working towards achieving Insight
and Awareness. This experiential process work focuses on helping individuals to explore,
discover and process feelings, memories, trauma and more in a positive way… working to
empower individuals to create positive solutions to life’s problems…further facilitating personal
growth and development.
To heal: to restore to or regain health or soundness, to set right, to repair
synonym- cure: restoration of health, method or course of medical treatment, an agent
such as a drug that restores health

mind, a condition of well-being

The process of healing seems quite simple by definition, as the dictionary defines that the
process lies within the action itself; outlining that “health,” is the main goal of the process of
healing, or “curing” as well. The word cure is synonymous with heal, but includes medical
treatment as a part of the process. Either way, the overall condition of “well-being” is the desired
homeostasis or temporary/ever changing balance of unequal parts. It’s a lot to manage on your
own.
Why not get help? We take our car to the mechanic, and dog to the vet?… So why is this so
difficult ? It can be challenging for so many reasons, but know that if you find yourself here you
are not experiencing this alone. We are all navigating the seasons of life and trying to keep our
balance.

Life is difficult, but it doesn’t have to be so hard. I am here to support you on your journey
wherever it may lead… wherever you desire to go…whether mindfully, mentally, emotionally,
physically or spiritually…I will help you to get there.
When we are young, we are subjected to the seeds of others, planting their expectations in our
garden per se. Each seed is a potential rule, role and value that is a perceivably an important life element needed to assimilate within our process of growth and development. Yet, when do we begin to plant our own seeds and grow to meet our own unique potential, beyond this foundation and create something new from the old?
Like the Ouroboros or Chrysalis phase of the butterfly; the snake eating its tail and the
transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly both represent the ultimate “Self” sacrifice yet,
simultaneously this considerable destruction and loss in one form, is transformed and resurrected as a type of rebirth and reformation in another. In a similar way, I you too are able to learn, grow and transform your “Self” with knowledge and experience that can help you to
achieve your life goals and create positive change in your life.
There is a complementary relationship between counseling, coaching and education, wherein education acts as a catalyst that facilitates a momentum of growth and development. This relationship is not only with the process itself, but with each individual, that moves beyond the confines that traditional analysis or therapy may limit. This relationship is based on trust and
support and working together as a team.
Like learning to ride a bike without training wheels; the idea of losing your support/balance can
be frightening. As a teacher I will provide you with education, while supporting you in you process is essential for successful learning, but additionally as a counselor it is also important to
provide support essentially by letting go as well. As a coach I will help you to move you beyond
your comfort zone to a place of transition, creating an outcome of independence versus dependency.
